# Events Mapping

> Upload your calendar of business events, sales, and promotional campaigns so Ocular can attribute revenue spikes and dips to the right driver.

Events Mapping is the brand-supplied calendar of moments that move your business — sales, launches, promo flights, holidays, and seasonal campaigns. Uploading it lets Ocular overlay these events on revenue, ad-spend, and traffic charts so an unexpected lift or drop can be traced back to the underlying activity instead of being read as noise.

    Business events and promotional campaigns — name, type, start and end dates, and the channels or SKUs each event applies to.

    Go to **Data Management → Brand Data → Events Mapping**. Download the template, fill it in, and upload the CSV.
